Hi everyone ,
i just assembled a new pc :
i5-4670, Quad Core, 3.40GHz
16gb ram
ASRock H97M ANNIVERSARY
Sapphire Radeon R7 360 OC NITRO, 2GB GDDR5 as video card
I decided to leave windows and switch to linux , but I've never used it so i don't know how to resolve these problems .
1)I get ''Running in software rendering mode'' , what does it mean ?
2)Internet doesn't work . It shows that it's connected but when I try to browse it doesn't work .
I've red some articles on internet about some terminal codes but I don't know how to read them to understand where's the issue .
I use the last linux mint's version , downloaded it 2 days ago .
Thank you guys
I would check the MD5 hash of the ISO file that you downloaded against the hash listed on that page before doing anything else. Do you have another Linux/Windows system available in which you can check that hash?
I've just seen that article , like 30 secs ago... And i'm one of those who downloaded it saturday 20th .
No I don't , that's my first linux ever . But where I have to check that MD5 ? On linux or on the another pc (windows) where I have downloaded the iso ?
I just checked it with a windows software . Look at the picture lol i compared the iso with the signature from mint 64 bit and here you go.. http://s23.postimg.org/qno6ip7dn/md5.jpg
Ok , i'm dowloading the other version . But how to remove this hacked version from my pc ?

:-) I think that this is a wake-up call for many people like me who've never bothered looking at file hashes in the past. I'm certainly going to be doing it from now on...
Anyway, unless you're planning to be undertaking research on backdoored systems and need the ISO as data, I would delete the file and download a copy from the site I mentioned. Once verified, you'll need to reinstall Linux Mint (repartitioning/formatting the disk as it's a new build anyway and, as far as I know, you're only going to be running Linux on it).
Okkey , so thats why I had that internet problem . I was reading the comments and a guy said he was having the same issue .
Later i will reinstall it and I will let you know the situation
Thanks man
Before installing the new version , I forgot to boot the dvd so I logged into the hacked version and clicked on it .. I thought it would start to install anyway , but of course it dind't so i restarted and changed the boot priorities .
But since I entered into the dvd with the hacked linux is there any possibilities that the backdoor jumped also into the new dvd ?
Maybe it's a noob question but i'm just starting out..
I installed the new iso and I don't have the internet problem anymore

No, you're fine. Did you check the hash on the newly downloaded ISO, and select "Erase disk" during installation?
How about the "software rendering mode" problem - is that still there?
Yes , the singnature is ok and I erased the disk .
The rendering mode is still there and also when I try to open a hdd , for example, it says ''Unable to mount location''

There is zero possibility that the hacked linux infected the new DVD. And you can always re-check the md5sum.

The rendering mode is still there and now I just tryied to write something and I noticed that the symbols are confused..
For example shift+7 should be ''/'' but it shows ''&''
The rendering mode problem I'll need to leave to someone else as it will be to do with your graphics card and that's beyond my ken.
It looks like your keyboard layout is incorrect. What keyboard do you have and which one do you choose on install?
For the latter, click on System Settings, then Keyboard (in the Hardware section) then Layouts, and let us know what it says at the top left.
Edit: Strangely, you appear to have edited your original post to remove the bit about the keyboard and you've replaced it with a bit about hard disk access. Why?
You will have to install the AMD drivers for your card, there should be a symbol in the stem tray that tells you that drivers are available. If not, use the Software Center (may be called differently in Mint) to install them (the package should be named fglrx).

Very likely the wrong keyboard layout is active. You should find a dialog to change that in the Settings menu.
