Humble Bundle, but some of them use wine anyway. There is also quite a lot of good arcade style FPS.

There are plenty of games that don't need wine that don't suck. You're on Linux, better things to do than play games anyways.

First thank you. Whats humblew bundle I looked it up but didn't find anything. Linux is very cool and I do try to do a lot of different things with it, but every now and then I wanna kick some villan butt to just have some play time between class work. I am ising Ubuntu 12.04 and I trried some of the games from the software store and well their a bit out dated and lame. If I went to the Game Stop what are some titles I would look for?
Again thank you

Open Arena is a good shooting game, you can get it from the Software center in ubuntu.

Holy spirit is another game similar to Diablo but for linux here are the instructions http://www.ubuntuvibes.com/2012/06/h...ce-diablo.html

TORC is a car racing game available in the ubuntu Software Center too
Super Tux 2 is a Super Mario game like with different worlds to go, also from the software center
Extreme Tux Racer is also another game available fromt the software center clean entertaining

DESURA is a STEAM like web site with lots of games that works in Linux http://www.desura.com/
Angry Birds and some more games are available to play right from the Google Chrome web browser too

You can check all these games out in youtube before installing if you like any of them there is always people there with tips for games and stuff.

Games

Stream or Google are your resources for Linux game search.
Game Stop is a console and Windows outlet, I have only ever seen ONE Linux game there and that was HALO II (don't even ask how LONG ago that was).

All of your best Linux stuff is online. The brick-n-morter stores could not make enough $$$ from it.

Natch: the good news is that you do not have to pay the brick-n-morter overhead!

It is a pay what you want promotion for cross platform games. It run for 2 weeks every few months. Linux users usually pay more than Windows and Mac to make a point, so if you buy, remember to pay more than the Linux average.
