Ok whats the diff in PPC i686 and x86?? I know some one had to ask this before me but im too lazy to search for it. thanks

what he means is: if you're too lazy to search, no one will help you. I personally can't, because I've only been running linux for 5 hours.

Evil Penguin, not to be an ass but really, do go poke around. installing linux or trying to work with linux is a lot of work, and first thing u need to learn is to be "not" lazy. :) just a friendly advice.

and sorry, i don't know the answer either.

You really should try to google stuff before you ask...if only to save other people some time. PPC i686 x86 refer to processor architecture of the particular computer you are using. I am assuming you are trying to decide which piece of software you need from a list with these referrences in them. PPC is Mac, i686/x86 refer to Pentium class chips. Whichever particular arch. you have - pick that one.
