New dedicated server
 

Hi all.

I recently acquired a dedicated server with Fedora 8, im not so used with using the terminal. I've installed php, mysql etc. But I have never installed web server (graphical) and vnc before and im stuck..

Also, whats the command to see the system overview (hardware etc).

I am not sure exactly what you are wanting help with here but I can help you with the last part of your question.

lspci will show you all all of the hardware connected via PCI.
cat /proc/cpuinfo will tell you about your cpu
cat /proc/meminfo will tell you about your memory

yum install apache2 Will install the web sevrer
