New and not sure?

I can not find a browser that is compatible with a website I use to send invoices in for my husbands business. The company says that they only use Internet Explorer. I looked for a link for Internet explorer for linux, but my computer alerted me that it was a bad site. I need to get and be able to submit invoices to www.argosi.net. Please help me! new and confused :)

welcome to LQ!!

My approach is always to lobby the site admin to fix the site to work on--at least--Firefox. If they follow standards, it just happens.

Recognizing that you may not want to go on this crusade..;)...here is more practical help:

Internet Explorer will run under WINE (or CrossOver, which is the commercial version). I highly recommend CrossOver--I am right now running IE6 using it and it seems to work fine. The advantage of CrossOver is the nice GUI installer and the support. They have a free trial available.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ!

In addition, you could install a M$ OS via a 'VM'. Then no problems with licensing or 'WINE' issues.

You can use 'VirtualBox', 'QEMU' or 'VMware'.

LQ has the new 'Linux - Virtualization' forum.

Didn't this work...

There is an add-on to Firefox that you could try, if you have not tried it already.
