Got here and check out this, http://ayttm.sourceforge.net/features.shtml. It is a good replacement for MSN.

Smile GAIM

Hi Starter--

In my experimenting, I've found that GAIM is a pretty good IM client for multiple protocols--ICQ, AIM, Yahoo!, MSN and more. You can find it at http://gaim.sourceforge.net/.

Have fun!

GAIM is installed if you have Redhat, Suse or Mandrake. There are also 1400 other applications that do virtually everything you could ever need. You need to explore your start menu, and go through the documentation CD.

I forgot about GAIM. RolledOat is right, GAIM comes with almost every distro.

ayttm is another IM client like GAIM.

Please post your questions in the most appropiate forum. Success Stories is not a forum to post questions, but rather post your successes in getting things to work in Linux and so on..

Moving to Newbie where this question is asked all the time and its more suitable in that forum.

Regards.
