NetworkManager loses access to my wireless device after resuming from sleep

I'm not sure if this is a bug or missconfiguration pertaining to NetworkManager.

Code:
NetworkManager: <WARN> impl_manager_activate_connection(): Connection (2) /org/freedesktop/NetworkManagerSettings/Connection/2 failed to activate: (2) Device not managed by NetworkManager
I'm using knetworkmanager as my frontend (not 4.3 version), but once inna blue, when my system resumes from sleep, I see icon from knetworkmanager that it can't access my wireless card. Check my logs I see the above error. On this kinda of situation mostly simply restarting NetworkManager will fix it, at other times I have to do rmmod and then modprobe ath9k, or have to restart the computer. It doesn't happen often but when it does it's annoying. Now my questions is, has anyone experience this before and knows the root of the problem? It's been happening since fresh install of Fedora 10 and been through 4 updates of NetworkManager and it's still exists.

I would reported as a bug but since I can't reproduce it easily, it would be tough to diagnose.

The simplest, least painful solution is to disable and reenable the wireless option in the NetworkManager applet after the system wakes up, and wait for software updates to catch up with this problem. Even logging off and on again should cure it (and I know that shouldn't be on the agenda for sleep/wake).

There is another method that involves entering the name of your wireless driver in the configuration files for sleep/suspend, but this is really complicated and might take longer than the accumulated time spent telling NetworkManager what to do (between now and the arrival of a fix).

Yeah I know, I had a problem with my video card once, I couldn't resize/maximize video windows while desktop effects were enabled. No solutions, no suggestions. It took 6 months, got it fix but just need a little fine tuning...
