network lubuntu to windows 7


just installed lubuntu on my rather slow gateway ml3108b laptop.
my question is
can i network it to win 7?
i did it in ubuntu and 7 with my old laptop but cant seem to now. i have samba installed but it just seems to show printer options? also when i used ubuntu if i opened home folder there was a browse network option
i cant see any network options at all

Yes there is. If you open a file browser window on the menu bar look under the GO menu, you will see there the Network option.

ah found it
first it keeps asking for network password the sometimes
when i enter password tho it says failed to receive shares from server

I think that will have to do with the way you have set up your network and your shares in your Windows machine. From there I have no idea.
