Angry network card modules??

i am trying to ftp install SuSE 9.0. i get to the point where i have to load the network card modules (im using this tutorial) and i dont know what to do. that tutorial expects you to know what a module is and i dont know what they mean. so right now im on windows stumped as to what a module is and what to type in that little prompt. i dont even know if SuSE supports the D-Link DFE-530tx card. it should because i was reading some debian threads that came up when i google searched, and they had some answers. but i really dont know what to do for this module business, can someone help me??

Try 128.125.253.59. Its the University of Southern California server. The full path is ftp://mirrors.usc.edu/pub/linux/distributions/suse/
