Network card disappeared

Upon booting Fedore Core 4 last night, I noticed that my network card was not detected. e100 on eth0 not present or something.
I can not activate it or anything, and I did nothing to change it.

However, I booted Knoppix and it detects it perfectly.

Intel Pro 100+ PCI Network Card

Nothing compiled or anything

Any ideas?

Check /var/messages and/or /var/syslog. They should tell you what has happened.

Could well be a problem with kernel drivers, check the kernel config

and dmesg, apste any errors you find and we can all have a closer look
