Network cannot restart successfully in CentOS 5

When I reboot my CenOS, my nic does not...

If I run eht0, I get the following:

./network-functions: line 78: icfg-eth0: No such file or directory
./network-functions: line 78: No such file or directory
Usage: grep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE)...
Try 'grep --help- for more information

The information in /etc/sysconfig/nework-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 is:

#Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] ...
Device=eth0
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=None

NETMASK = 255.255.255.0
IPADDR = **.**.**.**
HWADDR=**:**:**:**:**:
Gateway=**.**.***.*
TYPE=Ethernet

Anyone have any ideas on how to rectify this? Because I don't :-)

Hi,

Have you edited /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/network-functions?

In the error above its referring to icfg-eth0 - which is not correct - the network script file for interface eth0 would be ifcfg-eth0 .
