netviewdm2 open port
hello all,
Im not new to linux but new to these forums. Im locking down my debian box - I have port 730/tcp open running ntviewdm2 according to nmap. I can find plenty od sites that tell me what the port is...... BUT where the hell is the service that turns the thing on and off. I've had a scower of the web but can't seem to find this info, so if you know - please gimmie a shout. PS please dont send me a link to a port database - i need to no how to get rid of it not what it is. Cheers |
Hi...
I'd suggest that you run lsof | egrep -i -e "(:730|:netview" Cheers, Tink |
And another suggestion:
Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place. http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=356661 |
