netscape freeze specially when its trying to open a java applet webpage, so can anyone please tell me howto fix this problem
or if netscape need a few more plugins for java applet.
sincerely, clint
Well it would help if you give us the version of netscape you are wanting to run, but just like acid said i'd rather run Mozilla 0.9.9 anyday of the week becuase of its better compatibility with webpages and its overall faster than netsacape in loading up. Plus you can install it with just the stuff you want and without the newsreader and all the other bloat.
galeon inherits all plugins from mozilla, so with mozilla working with flash por java, galeon will implicitly work with tehm aswell. just download the plusings and follow their instructions.
Use opera if you can put up with ads on the top of your screen. As for plugins... Flash plugin files can be gotten from the macromedia website and then you have to find the directory your computer uses for plugins, usually its usr/local/mozilla/plugins.
