netgear wnp111 adapter not working

Hi
I am new to the forum and also new to linux ,I am running ubuntu and I am trying to get my netgear wireless adapter to work ,have been on to the netgear site to try and find a driver for it ,but I could not find one for linux .can anyone help me .
