Netgear WG111v2 dongle distro help...

I've got a netgear WG111v2 dongle. I know its a headache to get working, and I know some have, but I have certain circumstances that I need help with.

My computer only has 256 mbs ram and a 1.7 celeron, so I need a non sluggish distro.

I can't connect it to a wired connection so I need support out of the box.

NDISwrapper wouldn't stay connected or connect at all when i tried to get it working before.

Any ideas on getting this to work out of the box?
