Hey wassup!

I'm not really experienced with linux but do this..

- Open your Console or terminal or whatever you have..depends on your system..
- Navigate to the directory where your .tar file is.
- Type the following: tar fvxz modem_driver_file.tar
- This will extract the files to a new directory with the same name as the file's name.
- Do a: cd directory_name_created, and then let's see what kind of files you have..

Are they binary or source or what?
cause it depends from here..

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
