Need to download bootdisk.img

Hi, I need to download bootdisk.img and rawrite.exe. Can anyone help me on this?

thanks

Well, for rawrite.exe it is pretty obvious where to download it: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=rawrite.exe
About the bootdisk.img, that is a generic name that many distributions use, I would think. So please be a bit more specific. Do you really need an image of a floppy disk?

Are you trying to install Slackware? If yes, rawwrite.exe is included on the DVD image. If you have burned it, put the DVD your system running windows, and open explorer.

There is a directory called 'isolinux' and inside there another called 'sbootmgr'. In that dir you will find rawwrite.exe. My DVD is a 64 bit version, if you have a 32 bit version, look around the DVD, in case the dir structure is different.

Also see Slackbook on the DVD section 3.2.6 for instructions on how to use rawwrite.exe. The boot image is there too.

Hi TobiSGD thanks for the info

Just for clarification: On almost any modern machine (means built in the last 5-10 years) there is no need for a boot-floppy, almost any machine is capable of simply booting from a CD/DVD.
