need to buy a HDD docking station linux compatible

Hi chaps, unfortunately my 1TB external drive's connector is broken so I need to get a docking station to recover all the data from it. I had a look on ebay amazon but I couldn't find any mention of linux compatible devices. I was thinking to buy this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5-3-5-SA...item27d1ad96b8 but I have no idea whether linux will be able to read from it. Has anybody have any experience on this? IS there any other docking station you recommend?
thanks

its a standard USB dock station you should be fine. The OEMs do not bother listing Linux as a general rule. some do, but most dont. If it is USB and does not required 3rd party proprietary drivers to run, then it will work in any modern Linux system that supports USB devices as storage.

I doubt that Linux cares about the adapter. It's just a pass-through device.

For what it's worth, I got an adapter from Dalco and it worked just fine.
