question: do you have windows and linux running on the same machine as dual boot, or do you want to access a linux directory on computer A from a different computer B that runs windows? if the 2 computer model is what you are looking at, then you need to look into a program called samba. a simple google search for samba howto, or search of this forum would turn up some good sites and info.

hope this helps.

Edit: here is a good thread from this forum about samba.

You want to use Samba in all likelyhood -- search here and on google, there's plenty of good information on getting it set up. Ask here if you run into trouble. When you have Samba set up, your Linux directory or directories will show up in "Network Neighborhood" on the Windows box just like they would if they had been exported from another Windows PC.
