In Windows I have used MusicMatch which does an excellent job. I was connecting the line out from my audio player and used the line in of the PC sound card. In MusicMatch I could configure the recording source as line in, speaker, mike etc.
Is there any software in linux which I can use to create/record in mp3 format from audio tapes?
Thanks Peacedog for the link. Actually, before I asked this question, I did some googling and found the exact page. I did not read it fully, lazy I guess . After your message, I read the whole thing and its cool. I will give it a shot. Thanks again.
