Question Need help with X

Hi.

I need help with X.

IŽm running debian 3.0r2 and everything works but X.

I got a nvidia geforce 3 64 mb cards and a TAXAN(now valuevision) 1710 TCO 99 monitor.

When I configure I get "no screen found" error and it doesnŽt start.
IŽve tried X -probeonly, xf86config, editing config file myself but nothing seems to work.

Is it that i must have somre drivers for nvidid or monitor? That seems strange as i tried to use default vga still didnŽt work. Been harassing me for 2 days now so I could use some help.

Thanks prehand.

(Btw debians apt-get is realy good ^^)
