Need help with repos on centos 5.3 (no gui)

I have installed a few third party repos:

centos.karan
rpmforge
atrpms

When I run #yum update they are being recognized but at the end it is saying that 791 packages were excluded due to priorties restrictions.

Here are my repos:
Code:
[atrpms]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - ATrpms
baseurl=http://dl.atrpms.net/el$releasever-$basearch/atrpms/stable
gpgkey=http://ATrpms.net/RPM-GPG-KEY.atrpms
gpgcheck=1
priority=2
enable=1
priority=20

# This file uses a new mirrorlist system developed by Lance Davis for CentOS.
# The mirror system uses the connecting IP address of the client and the
# update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# geographically close to the client. You should use this for CentOS updates
# unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the mirrorlist= does not work for you, as a fall back you can try the
# remarked out baseurl= line instead.

I know this can't be working right because when I run # yum install php it wants to install version 5.1.6 instead of the newest version.

How do I fix this?

Version 5.1.6-23.el5 is the last available as binary package for Centos/RHEL5. You can try to temporarily disable the repos with the highest priorities to check excluded packages:
Code:
yum --disable-repo=updates --disable-repo=base list php
but I'm afraid the only way to install the latest version of php is to compile from source.

Thank you. I got it installed. I have the utterramblings installed and I did this:

# yum install php --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=utter*

And it worked!
