need help with finishing gentoo


my friend has pretty much done a stage 1 for me, so im lost as to what all he did. but anyways the problem is, he supposedly finished everything, and when he reboote dmy computer it said error loading os, im guessing it has something to do with grub, but i dont know what to do, can someone give me some ideas?

boot with the livecd then reinstall GRUB

for some odd reason i couldnt chroot or mount anything, so im reinstalling it so i know whats going on. thanks for the help tho
