Exclamation NEED HELP Thanks...

I am using Oracle Virtualbox running on my Windows 7x64. I am having a problem loading the CentOS-5.3-i386-DVD.iso. I have tried loading it but when I boot it, it stops at NET: Registered Protocol Family 2. If someone could explain why it won't go any further. Thanks

Hello,

What version of VirtualBox are you using? Have a look at the advanced options, there should be a 'Enable IO APIC' option. If it's checked then 'uncheck' it and try again.

PS: Forgot to mention. Change your thread title to something more descriptive if you want to draw attention to your problem/question.

Kind regards,

Eric

have you asked oracle ? about their VM ? - it is not free so you do have a support contract
also " CentOS-5.3-i386-DVD.iso" CentOS 5.3 is very very old and no longer supproted .
CentOS 5.6 is the current and is the ONLY 5 series supported
