Need Help on Installling an Application
 

I am trying to install a non RPM based app for the first time and having some problems. The instructions say to

As root, run the included install script.

So i have logged on as root and clicked on the install file. This has brought up a shell with half a licence agreement typed on it. Then at the bottom it says

more 36%.

So what do i do now. I cant seem to access any more and more importantly i cant seem to know what to do to actually install this program. What do i do.

"more" is a simple text reader that is showing you a document.

Simply press "Q" to quit, or press the spacebar to read the rest of the document.

You've clicked the file called INSTALL, right? That's just a text file outlining how to go about installing the program. Open up a terminal and follow the instructions in that file.
