need help!! LM10/8.2 No programs to load??
 

I am new and need help! When I load Mandrake 10 or 8.2, does not matter which, I have tried both. Everything goes as planned except when it gets to where you have to pick programs to install. It then comes up to a screen that has a picture of 2 monitors with stars on them, but no description of what is to be installed. The file size is 4 which is too small, and there are no other choices for installing packages.

1 error is; basesystem package not selected

I choose ok and go throught it again

2nd error; deplist.ordered mismatch against hdlist files

I do not understand this as it is referring to the hard drive partitions that it set up and formatted!

I have checked with hardware compatability and I have hardware that works.

Once I did manage to get LM10 to load but froze at installing the anti-virus. I am assuming that it froze because I was on the other computer searching the internet with my kvm switch.

Any suggestions?
