Need help installing First Class Client on Puppy

so i'm trying to install the Linux Generic version. and i'm not sure how to do it since it's binary tarball. i'm assuming you can't just extract it ? (did that for firefox and it worked just fine)

why would you assume you can't extract it? works fine for me:

so their plan is largely that you simply extract it to / and things should go in the right place. YMMV of course...

but when i click on /root/opt/firstclass/fcc , it doesn't do anything.

is it meant to do anything? i've no idea myself...

it's supposed to bring up a login field, it's an email client that my school uses. so i'm trying to get it on linux so i don't have to go back to windows often.
