need help in learning shell scripting


Hello,

I want to learn shell scripting. Can somebody guide me in this regard that how i can start doing so.

The Advanced Bash-Scripting Guide is good and excellent for examples but I prefer GNU's Bash Reference Manual for looking things up because its table of contents is fuller. It's not a good introduction but an excellent and complete reference for later.
