Need help finding source!

I don't know why I'm having so much trouble lol. I switched to becoming a linux user as of 11pm last night, installed FC8 on my laptop and slackware on my old ibm server. Anyhow trying to install ndiswrapper to get my wifi up and running as well as the nvidia go 6150 drivers, both give me a "I dont want to work" because i'm missing the kernel source files. after HOURS of google searching I finally found "yum install kernel-source`uname -r` to my dismay i get a "no package kernel-source-2.6.23.1-42.fc8"

Can somone please explain what the hell i'm doing wrong before I go insane!! lol..

One you do not need the kernel source to build ndiswrapper, all you need is the kernel-devel rpm package.
Two you do not need to build ndiswrapper, one can simply add a third party repo like freshrpms.net and install the dkms-ndiswrapper package;

http://werewolf.freshrpms.net/

rpm -Uvh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp....fc.noarch.rpm

yum install dkms-ndiswrapper
