Need help booting to Linux, cause Windows is evil

Quick rant: Microsoft Windows should be totally removed, as well as all the 'safety protocall' it uses. Mircosoft should be shut down, period'

Ok, on to my problem. I'm running Windows XP Home Edition with the SP2. I have just installed Linux to run as a dual boot, which worked fine until I booted Windows, which then tried to system restore and whatnot, which I said no to, but now it won't let me boot Fedora Core 2. Any help would be much apreciated.

I've tried rebooting with the FC2 disk 1 in the drive and rescue, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. I also tried to upgrade from the same disk on the off chance that would help. Nada. Only other thing I can think of is reinstalling Linux. Any other ideas?

what does it do when you try to boot up? Does it give you teh option? is it in the grub boot loader? does it go directly to windows?

First two times I tried to reboot, it came up with the screen asking which one to boot to, but now it goes straight into Windows XP

what about when you use the boot disk you created when you installed linux?

I was never prompted to make a boot disk, but I have been checking on making one, somehow.

Also, so far all I have is a root and swap partition, if that may cause problems. Before that comes the Windows recovery and the windows OS partition, which I cann't alter, or feel safe trying to
