Need help Again
 

Am trying to play my pc games like call of duty and rainbow six on a fedora 11 OS but its not working. Alot of people have told me to install wine and i did but its still not working.I try to run the game, the initial screen that has the options like play now, uninstall or read the manual comes up but then when i click play now just a black screen follows. Am i using the wrong OS. Can somebody please tell me the gaming OS for linux. Am not computer savy but i really need help.

You are not using the wrong OS, you are using the wrong software.

MS Windows programs are not supposed to run under the Linux kernel. There is no Linux distribution that is made to run Windows programs. Wine is a Linux program to get some Windows programs to run. VMWare Workstation is another program to run Windows.

In addition to WINE, you might want to look at CrossOver. This is the commercial (paid) version of WINE, and sometimes will run things that WINE will not. They have a free trial period and there is a version specifically for games.
