need help 'configure a service' by teamviewer[quick $20 paypal to you]
ok this is a question.
I only have 1 hour from now to solve this
read this and add me on msn and help through teamviewer.
quick 20 bucks to you

use the ubuntu 9.10 desktop virtual machine and configure DNS.

Using your first name for a domain name, e.g., kevin.org,
you are to configure the service to respond to queries
about this domain (from localghost) for the following hosts with different IP addresses:

mail
www
gw
dns

where the last should correspond with your current machine's IP address.
you should also create aliases, where

smtp is an alias to mail, and
ftp is an alias to www.

add me on msn : sronboard@hanmail.net
hurry and thanks!

Are you in the middle of some examination? This typically is a certification exam question.

Thumbs down

If any of the mods come across this could you please close this thread and perhaps warn the user?

IMHO this really goes against what LQ tries to achieve and sounds like some sort of exam question...

Per the LQ Rules, please do not post homework assignments verbatim. We're happy to assist if you have specific questions or have hit a stumbling point, however. Let us know what you've already tried and what references you have used (including class notes, books, and Google searches) and we'll do our best to help. Also, keep in mind that your instructor might also be an LQ member.
