Question need ftp proggie


does any1 know a ftp programm that sends me an email if a user has completed his upload to my ftp?

I don't think there is one that exists, and it wouldn't be necessarily a program but the ftp daemon or service running that would do this. Only way I know of is to create a script that runs as a cron job that checks the log files of when a whatever user connects and somehow checks when he was logged out, etc, and then reports that to you by email, etc.

Sounds kind of tedious for such a small task. Couldn't you just have the person uploading email you instead..
