need an expert

Here's my pickle, I using Clarkconnect 3.0 and I'm installing Kerio mail server and to configure it i need to have Xserver to have a GUI but it will not start because there are no mouse drivers in Clark witch is a Fedora core 2, and to top it off I'm a newbie to this all but i'v managed to get this far. Question how to add dev mouse drivers to my package is there an RPM i can install, most of the time I use Webmin to access the server so I can install remotley if needed.
PS. linux is so cool.

i thought most standard mice could be used without having to install a 3rd party device driver.. if you need one, it will have probably been included with your distro. try running 'mouseconfig' and/or 'xorgconfig' to setup the mouse/xserver. run the 2nd command as root.
try the first command and test, if no success, then try 2nd command and repeat. if still no luck then let us know your mouse details.

I checked for mouseconfig and its not in my distor nor is xorgconfig, and I think i was misleading In Xserver, Its Xfree86 that I need to get working,
Adn its just a PS/2 mouse nothing special. And in /root/dev/ I see msmouse but its a 0 bite file and when I look inside it its blank, thers is in /root/dev/input/
Mouse0 , Mouse1 , Mice but they too are 0 bite files Clarkconnect came without mouse drivers, it ment to be a headless distro and I need to mod it to have mouse support so i can use Xfree86, so I can configure Kerio mail server, just to to get the Webmin side of the maile server working and then Im done. maybe all in vain, I hope not. If there was a RPM package i could use that would be greate or a basic drive I could upload that will be just fine as well. Thanks to everyone for your help.

you shouldnt need to download/install anything. mouseconfig should be with your distro, you shouldnt need to specify the full path when entering it as a normal user, but you will need to i believe when root, but theres no need to do it as root because you wont be running gui as root, right? however, i think youll need to run xorgconfig or if you have XFree86, then obviously the setup program for that which i dont know what its called.

the device file your looking for will be in /dev/ of course. probably /dev/psaux or /dev/mouse or /dev/input/mice or something similar.
