Need a quick answer to a dumb question

I just installed RH9 on my Inspiron 8200 notebook. Pretty everything works, better than it did on my desktop actually.

However, I need to go to bed, and I hate turning off my notebook at night. How do I have the screen simply go black?

Edit - Nevermind, I found it. Delete this thread if you choose.

What I use to do, when I want to listen to some music before sleep is simply this:

bash$ sleep 600; halt

Ten minutes after and powers-off.
