Necessary drivers for linux
 

I will be installing Blag Linux 3001 in a few days, I am new to linux and am wondering if anyone out there knows where to find drivers for a Gigabyte GA-8I945P-G motherboard, ATi Radeon X1800XT video card and Sound Blaster Audigy sound card, as well as the method of installing these drivers. I am greatful for any help.

There's a comment saying that Fedora runs fine with it. I've seen
other posts suggesting that they had problems, so ... I can't comment
on your version of linux because I've never heard of the distro.

As for the radeon - If you want just good performance it should
work fine with the stock radeon driver from xorg; if you need the
ultimate FPS try the ATI drivers. Personally I'd go with NVidia-
cards at the moment ;}
