ndiswrapper weird error


hello community

i am new to linux and installed it just yesterday for the first time.

i have a

netgear wg111 wireless usb
dlink dwl g122 rev c

i downloaded ndiswrapper and extracted the tar and gave a

make uninstall

//this went fine

make

//this went fine too

make install

when i give this command it processes and at the end i get an error like

coudnt create file lib/........kernel(something) access denied
[error 1]

returning to /home/............

[error2]




can somebody help me.

i am using

open suse 10.1 and ndiswrapper the newest ver

Are you root when you do 'make install'?
