ndiswrapper problem

Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with my dell truemobile 1300 wireless card on my laptop. For a while it was recognizing networks, but not allowing me to log onto them (using KWiFiManager, and Network Device Control), but now it is not recognizing that i have a ndiswrapper installed, let alone a wireless card.
When i try and activate it via network device control, it gives me the message: "ndiswrapper device wlan0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization."

I'm also having lots of trouble with my ethernet, but thats a whole different story / thread! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
cheers

okay, problem solved, for some reason it was no longer loaded in modprobe

Okay, just kidding. Everything worked well, it loaded my home page, so i posted that on my friends computer, but then when i tried loading anything other than google.ca it didnt work. I rebooted, and tried again, but its still not working.

iwconfig tells me this:

Code:

lo            no wireless extensions

wlan0      IEE802.11g ESSID:"AUTO"  Nickname:"localhost"
                Mode:Auto Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: F2:5A:xx:xx:xx:xx
                Bit Rate=54 Mb/s  Tx-Power:25 dBm
                RTS thr=2347 B  Fragment thr=2346 B
                Encryption key:off
                Power Management:off
Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-57 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm
RX invalid nwid:0  RX invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0
                TX excessive retries:4  Invalid misc:22010 Missed beacon:0

eth0        no wireless extensions.

sit0          no wireless extensions.

If i try and activate the device via Network Device Control (which was working before i edited this post) it waits for a bit, and finally tells me:

"Determining IP information for wlan0...PING 192.xxx.0.1 (192.xxx.0.1) from 192.xxx.0.100 wlan0: 56(84) bytes of data.

Do you have it configured for dhcp? I don't see an IP address assigned.

I had similar problems with my laptop, turned out to be a bad ndiswrapper version/driver combo.
