are you doing this as root? It should be compiled as root.

Quote:
install -D -m 755 ndiswrapper /usr/sbin/ndiswrapper
ndiswrapper is installed at /usr/sbin, so you must include this in your $PATH to be able to run it from everywhere.
But first you must disable the 4K size stack from your kernel, recompile kernel and recompile ndiswrapper because you may run into troubles.

Regards

Alright, figured out how to get modprobe working, but now it gives me this error when I type "modprobe ndiswrapper"

Code:
[root@cnr115-35 ~]# modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.9-1.667.stk16/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

You have compiled ndiswrapper using the wrong kernel-version. In you first post there is the line:
Quote:
mkdir -p /lib/modules/2.6.9-1.667/misc
and in your last you see that it's trying to insert the module from: /lib/modules/2.6.9-1.667.stk16/misc
What does
Code:
uname -r
reports about your kernel version.
Take a look at the installation how-to to solve this problem.
