Ndiswapper on Fedora 3 with kernel 2.6.11
Hi everyone, I had my wireless card (broadcom 802.1 b/g wlan) work perfect on the kernel 2.6.9 with fedora 3 but when I upgraded my kernel to 2.6.11 it stopped working. I tried reinstalling the driver but I get the following message:
invalid driver Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 Forcing parameter IBSSGMode|0 to IBSSGMode|2 I really need help on this. It says that someone got something similar working by using a different driver. Other than that it might help if you say which model name of the card you have. Have you recompiled ndiswrapper after the kernel upgrade? |
Are you sure you need to use ndiswrapper to get your card working with that kernel. As far as I know 2.6.11 supports wireless cards out of the box..
