Nautilus quits unexpectedly

Hi, I have installed Red Hat AS V4 and am having problems everytime i try to load a cd. An error 'The application Nautilus has quit unexpectedly' It gives options to close or restart but clicking either of these just causes the alert to go away then come straight back. This happens unmount the CD and eject it from the drive.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I need to do to fix it?

im not sure exactly...but if no one else answers you in a while...try re-installing nautilus - with the package manager or try launching it from a terminal to see if it gives you any more info

May be privilege to mount and unmount a cd or disk in your system is only for the superuser, try this:

open up a terminal &

Code:

$su 
password:
#mount /mnt/cdrom

now u can access the cd

>to unmount:

Code:

#umount /mnt/cdrom
