Nautilus not loading automatically
Hi,
yesterday I tried reading a CDR which turned out to be faulty. Nautilus got its knickers in a twist, and a dialog box appeared which, IIRC, had an option to exit nautilus compeatly, or restart nautilus. I chose the restart option. All that happened was that the 'start/task bar' vanished, and the comp hung. After 10mins waiting, I pressed ctrl-alt-del a couple of times, and the comp rebooted. After logging in, I was presented with the TWM window manager. I can start nautilus from xterm, but it seems to be running 'under' TWM, with all the associated uglyness, and no task bar. Help! ;) How do I get my nautilus desktop back? I've googled & fiddled around, but can't get it back. Thanks in advance, Dan (BTW: Fedora2, GDM 2.6.0.0) |
