Nautilus 2.6.x

I installed FC2 which came with Naut 2.6.0. There is no toolbar, no index in help, opening a folder opens a new window (NT4 like), no options to change this behaviour, cannot see smb shares... my complaint list is too long. I see 2.6.3 is available. Are these issues fixed in 2.6.3 or are there more options in 2.6.0 than what I am finding?

Any word on FC3's release?

Nautilus 2.6 introduced what's called a 'spatial' user interface by default.

See http://www.bytebot.net/geekdocs/spatial-nautilus.html for more information. This will not be regressed in future nautilus releases, but you can alter a setting to have nautilus act more like older versions.

Surprisingly, information regarding the fedora release schedule is on the fedora website: http://fedora.redhat.com/participate/schedule/
