nano scroll problems

Hi, I am using nano to edit files which are wider than the screen width, when I move along a line with my cursor only the current line scrolls. Is there any way to change this behaviour so that the whole screen scrolls when moving off the edge of the screen? I am starting nano with w.

I am using 2.2.6 nano.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Chris

No, there's nothing like that. nano is quite simplistic when it comes to word-wrapping.

Probably the best thing you can do is toggle soft-wrapping on and off. The default keybinding for that is meta(alt) + $.
