nagios on linux

Hello.

For nagios, you know it has the web interface which shows the status of the hosts being monitored. If status is 'OK', it will show in green then if status is 'CRITICAL' it will show in red color. For this, anyone knows what plugins is being run? I only know that behind the plugins, there are codes written, something like programming, in order to make a thing to perform the way it wanted.

And also, if i want to create a 'scoreboard' to count the number of services for a particular host that is currently 'OK' to compare the number of services for another host, would thst be possible? Is there any plugins that are already available for this or for anything that is similar to this?

Thanks

Hello,

You can do a lot in order to change the layout, configuration and color codes in Nagios. Have a look at this site:
http://www.redwaratah.com/wiki/index...ios_Status_Map

I'm sure that'll help you on your way.

Kind regards,

Eric

For that you have to change statusmap source code.

you can modify from nagios source code => cgi => statusmap.c
