Question n00b with a pup question

hello...this is my first post here.

i'm running fedora 8 on a dell latitude D400 lappy.

i currently have openoffice.org 2.4.1 installed.

for some reason, the package updater wants to install a security update for openoffice.org-2.3.0-6.15.fc8

naturally, there are dependency issues between the versions.

my question for you folks is:

how can i clear/remove the openoffice.org-2.3.0-6.15.fc8 from the package updater?

i have checked my installed packages using

#rpm -qa

and there is no openoffice.org-2.3.0-6.15.fc8

only 2.4.1

thanks for your time

geoff
