mythtv and which distro

so i am a newb, and i am interested in having a mythtv box. currently i have an ati radeon 9600se, pentium 4 2.0, 512 ram, hauppauge wintv, ati remote wonder. i would like to know which distro is the easiest (has a nice and easy setup) and will run the best, drivers, etc on my machine. i really dont like code much, so graphical is preferable. i have a large enough hard drive(80gig) and aside from recording shows, i would like to run a few emulators. does this seem like a good idea? and also back to the question of where to start. ideas?

If you're looking for easy, the way to go would be KnoppMyth.
