mysqld fails on startup
Greetings all,
I am attempting to run MySQL for the first time on a new RedHat 8 install. I get the following messages in the log on startup: 030202 18:09:27 mysqld started /usr/libexec/mysqld: Too many parameters /usr/libexec/mysqld Ver 3.23.52 for pc-linux-gnu on i686 Use '--help' or '--no-defaults --help' for a list of available options 030202 18:09:28 mysqld ended As you can see, it only takes a second to decide not to run. I have not customized anything - this is a vanilla install. Any help would be *greatly* appreciated! Thanks! Mark  |
