Unhappy MySQL on RedHat 7.1

Until now I used to develop software, using Delphi in a Windows-environment. Now I want to use a MySQL-database on a Linux-server, TCP/IP-connected to a Windows network. (I'll start using Kylix maybe later; and switch over to a complete Linux-network). I bought me RedHat 7.1 Professional; which includes MySQL. I installed it succesfully (clean install on a dedicated PII-350) and Linux works fine. But, I cant find MySQL at all! How do I setup a database from here on? I included it in the installed-items dialogs; and I could see that MySQL-related files were copied from CD to HD. So I guess its installed correctly. How do I access MySQL now? Where can I view/manipulate/setup my MySQL-database?

have you installed ALL the MySQL files? there's usually (assuming RPM's) mysql, mysql-server adn mysql-client, all of which are required to do simple console database design, i guess if you're developing software, you'd just use the server.. not sure..

MySQL/RH7.1

I installed everything which seemed related to MySQL. I want to use it as a server in the end, but for now I need to experiment a little bit with the database itself. How can I do that? And also - how can I install a MySQL-database there?
I intend to connect to the Windows-network through MyODBC.
