Mysql installation release notes screen


Hello, while making apt-get upgrade i get mysql-server listed as well and when upgrading to 5.1 it open some release notes (with changes, compatibility etc) during apt-get upgrade, i cannot quit that screen correctly to continue upgrade process. please help.

Debian 6.

I guess you need to scroll down to until the end of the release note. Normal arrow key should work or space or it should be mentioned on screen, read carefully. Then there should also be some direction on which key to press for which action.

Thanks, i scroll down and it shows 'END' at left bottom but it remains and whatever i type i does not go out of that screen, as if I'm in some editor, though ctrl+x and other combinations do not work.

Well, what about if you try to exit from vi, for example, using the following command:

:q!

or try pressing q only. That should work.
